PARIS – Technip has signed a €200 million ($270 million) contract for ArcelorMittal to provide steel wire for Technip’s flexible sheaths.
The agreement also has a research and development element whereby Technip and ArcelorMittal will develop new wire solutions to meet flexible pipe requirements.
The work will be at ArcelorMittal’s Bourg-en-Presse, Rhônes-Alpes, France.
