Statoil, Fabricom contract for gas treatment in Norwegian Sea

Statoil awarded Fabricom a Nkr60-million contract to carry out work at the Kårstø gas treatment complex. The scope of work includes the prefabrication and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Statoil awarded Fabricom a Nkr-60 million contract to carry out work at the Kårstø gas treatment complex. The scope of work includes the prefabrication and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment. It also includes instrumentation for the Kårstø development project and installation of pipe-racks and two modules, which will be manufactured by Fabricom in Belgium and delivered to Kårstø in November. The development will enable the gas treatment plant to receive and treat gas from the Mikkel field in the Norwegian Sea. The contract expires October 2003.
