PGS Power was awarded a 5-year, $150 million contract from Kerr McGee to provide operations support services for the Hutton, Murchison, Ninian fields, along with the Gryphon and Janice floating facilities.

BP Amoco has awarded contracts to Paragon Engineering and Intec Engineering for preliminary engineering work for a "new transportation infrastructure" in the Mississippi Canyon, south Atwater Valley, and Green Canyon areas in the Gulf of Mexico. Paragon will focus on onshore and continental shelf infrastructure while Intec will focus on deepwater.
