North Sea trio extends logistics contracts with ASCO

ABERDEEN, UK – Logistics and materials management provider ASCO has won contract extensions from UK North Sea majors with a combined value of over £20 million ($25.35 million).

The extensions from long-standing clients Centrica Energy Storage, TotalEnergies and bp will each run for up to three years.

For bp and TotalEnergies, the company will provide services to support their operations in north-east of Scotland, such as quayside support, materials management, ship agency, road transport, aviation and environmental services including Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM).

Under the program for Centrica, ASCO will provide services for multiple manned and unmanned offshore platforms, including warehousing, waste management and logistics.

It will also assist Centrica’s investment over the coming decade to redevelop the Rough field in the UK’s southern gas basin for the switch to hydrogen storage.
