ABERDEEN, UK  THREE60 Energy has acquired Pryme Group and Flexlife.

The newly combined group will offer engineering, operations and project management throughout the life cycle of offshore assets, from design through decommissioning.

Following the acquisitions, the Aberdeen-based group now has a 1,000-strong workforce worldwide. Its enlarged offering spans sectors including oil and gas, offshore wind, carbon capture and storage, and geothermal energy.

THREE60 has integrated capabilities in subsurface, wells, engineering, construction and operations.

Aberdeenshire-based Pryme Group, formed in 2014, employs more than 360 people across 11 UK sites. The company designs, project manages, assembles, tests, commissions and provides service support to mechanical handling and pressure systems.

Pryme has developed offshore wind turbine installation tooling that has been deployed recently on the Saint Nazaire and Saint Brieuc wind farms offshore western France. It is also adapting mooring monitoring systems originally developed for anchoring FPSOs for the floating offshore wind sector.

Flexlife provides life-cycle management solutions for flexible pipes and umbilicals in the offshore oil, gas and offshore wind sectors, including riser system design and fabrication and mooring hookup verification.
