Welltec acquires Autentik to expand intervention services

ALLEROD, Denmark — Welltec has acquired Stavanger-based Autentik, a developer of electric wireline fishing and intervention solutions. The acquisition will expand Welltec’s downhole well access capabilities.
Autentik has provided services to companies in North America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
The company will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Welltec.
