ADELAIDE, Australia — Santos has completed the sale of a 12.5% interest in the Barossa gas condensate project in the Timor Sea to JERA after receiving all regulatory approvals.
The value of the transaction is $327 million.
The project to backfill Darwin LNG from Barossa’s production was 33% complete at the end of March and remains on schedule for startup in the first half of 2025.
Participants in the project are Santos (50% and operator), SK E&S (37.5%) and JERA (12.5%).
