OSLO, Norway – Kongsberg Digital has signed a new extended contract with Aker BP to support the Norwegian operator’s digital solutions.

The goals include helping Aker BP optimize well operations.

Kongsberg Digital’s SiteCom Enterprise Cloud is a centralized repository for real-time and historical data from drilling and well operations.

The company’s Software as a Service (SaaS) service will allow Aker BP to scale according to its operational needs. System integration work will take place over the next few months.
