Majors fund further development of chemical management system

LUX Assure has secured a £2.4-million ($3.3-million) second round investment for development of its CoMic and OMMICA technologies for monitoring and managing chemicals in hydrocarbons, condensates, and water.

ABERDEEN, UK – LUX Assure has secured a £2.4-million ($3.3-million) second round investment for development of its CoMic and OMMICA technologies for monitoring and managing chemicals in hydrocarbons, condensates, and water.

These are said to provide time and cost savings to operators, and contribute to enhanced production efficiency.

The funding has come from Chevron Technology Ventures, ConocoPhillips Co., Statoil Technology Invest, Archangel Investors and the Scottish Investment Bank, the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise.
