ZUG, Switzerland – Allseas’ pipelay vessel Pioneering Spirit was due to sail into the Baltic Sea via Denmark’s Great Belt Bridge in Denmark to join the Nord Stream 2 gas line construction fleet.

After a stop of several days in Denmark, the vessel will head east to begin pipelay of the first string of Nord Stream 2 in the Finnish Exclusive Economic Zone.
