Offshore staff
SINGAPORE – Ocean Energy Ventures (OEV) and Quippo Oil and Gas have acquired the Fujian Mawei newbuild hull MW301-1.
The vessel, under construction in Shanghai, was originally ordered by Marine Assets Corp. against a five-year charter contract with Nautilus Minerals, but this has since been terminated.
It will be re-namedAmaya Explorer.
OEV is a subsidiary of MDL Energy, an offshore shipping investment group with the capability to design, build, and deliver vessels for offshore operators.
