Jumbo to install Leviathan subsea production manifold

TechnipFMC has awarded Jumbo’s offshore division a transportation and installation contract for the Leviathan field development offshore Israel.

SCHIEDAM, the NetherlandsTechnipFMC has awarded Jumbo’s offshore division a transportation and installation contract for the Leviathan field development offshore Israel.

The company will transport and install a 410-ton subsea production manifold in a water depth of 1,643 m (5,390 ft). It will also install various other subsea isolation valves and valve skids in a water depth of about 86 m (282 ft).

In addition, Jumbo will transport various equipment from the US Gulf Coast to the Eastern Mediterranean.

It will also provide project management and engineering services for this scope of work, including attendance of HIRAs and review of TechnipFMC’s procedures and analyses.

TheNoble Energy-operated Leviathan field is in the I/14 Leviathan North and I/14 Leviathan South leases about 125 km (77 mi) west of Haifa, Israel, and 35 km (22 mi) west of the Tamar field in the eastern Mediterranean Levantine basin. Water depth ranges from 1,600 m to 1,750 m (5,249 ft to 5,741 ft).
