Appraisal drilling continues in South Ramadan

LONDON – SDX Energy expects operations on the SRM-3 appraisal well in the South Ramadan concession in the Gulf of Suez offshore Egypt to conclude in the next few weeks.

Drilling started on June 14, but the well encountered drilling problems and had to be side tracked. It is targeting undrained light oil up-dip of one of the previous producing wells in the field.

This is the final commitment well on the South Ramadan concession.
