STAVANGER, Norway – HydraWell has won a long-term contract for P&A and slot recovery operations on an unnamed field on the Norwegian continental shelf.
The five-year deal carries three one-year extension options.
The operator will deploy HydraWell’s HydraHemera high pressure perf, wash and cement (PWC) jetting system for all operations.
PWC is said to plug offshore wells in two to three days, compared to up to 10-14 days for traditional section milling tasks.
