Eidesvik PSVs on long-term hires in the North Sea

Eidesvik has secured contracts for two of its platform supply vessels offshore northwest Europe.

BØMLO, NorwayEidesvik has secured contracts for two of its platform supply vessels offshore northwest Europe.

The PSVViking Prince was due to start an 85-day program on the UK continental shelf this month, and will then support Norske Shell for two exploration wells, one on the Tyttebær prospect close to the Knarr field, and the other on the Coeus structure near the Ormen Lange field in the Norwegian Sea.

Saipem has contracted theViking Queen to support its Castorone vessel during pipelay from the Johan Sverdrup field in the North Sea to the Mongstad and Kårstø oil and gas terminals in western Norway.

Operations should start in March or April, with the contract potentially lasting up to 160 days.
