Onshore commissioning has now started at the facility. All four decks have been stacked, with spool installation and cable pulling in process.

Following loadout, the offshore installation campaign should get under way this spring.

The company is also progressing work on theQGEP Atlanta project offshore Brazil, with the NO 102 expected to arrive soon to begin loadout and installation of the umbilicals and to pick up and transfer the flexible flowlines to the FPSO.

McDermott’s fabrication yard in Batam, Indonesia, has completed double joint welding of heavy wall corrosion resistant alloy pipe for the Greater Western Flank Phase II project offshore Western Australia.

Double jointing of light wall pipe for the same project should finish by the end of 1Q.

The company’s consortium with Baker Hughes, a GE company has finished front-end engineering design for the POSCO Daewoo Shwe Phase 2 project offshore Myanmar.
