Offshore staff
MOSCOW – Gazprom says its joint venture with PetroVietnam, Vietgazprom, expects to spud the first deepwater exploration well offshore Vietnam later this year.
Preparatory geological and geophysical data has been processed and hydrologic studies have been completed at the planned drilling sites in block 129, where the water depth exceeds 1,600 m (5,249 ft).
Vietgazprom operates blocks 112, 129, 130, 131, and 132.
