LIMASSOL, Cyprus — Shipowner Pelagic Partners has completed an investment in two platform supply vessels (PSVs) under a partnership with asset management specialist Borealis Maritime.
Aurora Coey (ex-Viking Coey) and Aurora Cooper (ex-Viking Cooper) are ice-class, dual-fuel vessels capable of operating on LNG and are also ammonia-ready.
Hybrid battery power and low-loss voncept systems further reduce their emissions, Pelagic said, and they are also configured to use grid energy while in port.
Both vessels are currently under charter.
