Equinor adds Åsgard A modifications to Ocean Installer subsea workload

STAVANGER, Norway — Equinor has awarded Ocean Installer a subsea line modification (SLM) program at the Åsgard A platform in the Norwegian Sea.

The work scope encompasses recovery of two risers, installation of one new riser and flexible jumper, and engineering, procurement, and installation of GRP covers to protect the jumper.

Offshore operations should take place during the fall.

Ocean Installer’s project team for other Equinor-commissioned SLM projects at Vigdis, Visund, Åsgard C and a morgrip connection on the Northern Lights CO₂ pipeline will execute the work.
