DeepOcean to service Exxon Mobil subsea needs offshore Guyana

Exxon Mobil has contracted DeepOcean to perform subsea construction as well as IMR duties at fields in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana.

OSLO, NorwayExxon Mobil has contracted DeepOcean to perform subsea construction as well as inspection, maintenance, and repair (IMR) duties at fields in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana.

It is the company’s first large-scale contract with Exxon Mobil in the Americas, with operations to be managed by DeepOcean’s US division.

The company will deploy Siem Offshore’s Siem Day multipurpose support vessel for subsea operations, including jumper installations. The vessel is equipped with a 250-metric ton crane and has a large deck space, modern DP systems and dual ROV spreads.
