Ramboll to analyze Kiriskoye installation procedures offshore Sakhalin Island

Russian subsea contractor MRTS has commissioned Ramboll Oil & Gas to provide engineering support for Gazprom’s Kirinskoye gas-condensate development in the Sakhalin III area off eastern Russia.

ESBJERG, Denmark – Russian subsea contractor MRTS has commissioned Ramboll Oil & Gas to provide engineering support for Gazprom’s Kirinskoye gas-condensate development in the Sakhalin III area off eastern Russia.

The field in the Kirisnksy block contains more than 100 bcm of gas and 11.4 MM metric tons of gas condensate. Gas will be produced viaRussia’s first subsea production complex, supplied by FMC Technologies.

MRTS has the main contract for installation and service for the Kirinskoye field. Ramboll will perform critical installation analysis and assist in development of installation procedures for the harsh environment of the Okhotsk Sea.
