LUXEMBOURG — Talos Energy has contracted Subsea7 for subsea installations for the Sunspear development in the Gulf of Mexico (GoM).
The project involves the tieback of one production well at Sunspear in Green Canyon Block 78 to the Prince platform, 12 km to the north. Subsea7 will install the flowline and associated subsea equipment in 500 m water depths.
The company’s Houston office will manage the program, with offshore work due to start later this year.
