Statoil shortens window for offshore Norway rig suspension

Statoil has agreed to bring forward the end of a suspension period for the Cat D semisubmersible Songa Enabler.

LIMASSOL, Cyprus – Statoil has agreed to bring forward the end of a suspension period for the Cat D semisubmersible Songa Enabler.

The rig will therefore resume duties on the Norwegian continental shelf in early March. OperatorSonga Offshore adds that it looks forward to having all four Cat D rigs on operating rate again.
