Offshore staff
HOUSTON – The weekly rig count for offshore US remained steady at 33 in the recent Baker Hughes data release. This is 19 down year over year.
The totalUS rig count for the week is down 34 to 954, and is down 877 rigs from last year’s comparable count of 1,831.
The Canadian count is down 19 rig from last week to 80, with oil rigs unchanged at 20, and gas rigs down 19 to 60. This is down 119 rigs from last year at 199, with oil rigs down 65, and gas rigs down 54.
