SINGAPORE -KrisEnergy’s final exploration well of its current campaign in the Gulf of Thailand's G6/48 concession has proven more oil and gas.

The jackupKey Gibraltar drilled the Rossukon-3ST sidetrack from the same surface location as the Rossukon-3 well in 208 ft (63 m) of water, to a TD of 6,645 ft (2,025 m) MD.

Analysis of logs suggests the well intersected around 85 ft (26 m) of net oil-bearing sandstones and 63 ft (19 m) of net gas-bearing sandstones over several reservoir intervals.

Key Gibraltar now heads to G10/48 in the Gulf to drill the Rayrai-1 exploration well followed by 15 development wells for KrisEnergy’s field deoil development.
