Strengthened SeaRose floater heading back to eastern Canada

The SeaRose FPSO is sailing west to the White Rose field offshore Newfoundland following the completion of life extension work at the Harland & Wolff dry dock in Belfast.

The SeaRose FPSO is sailing west to the White Rose field offshore Newfoundland following the completion of life extension work at the Harland & Wolff drydock in Belfast.

According to operator Cenovus Energy, reconnection and commissioning will take place following the vessel’s arrival to allow production from White Rose to restart by year-end 2024. 

The West White Rose development has reached the 85% completion mark and is progressing on schedule, the company added.
