RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil — Mooring operations have started in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil for Enauta’s FPSO Atlanta.

This follows inspection and clearance by the Brazilian authorities.

The platform, which should start production by August, is designed to process 50,000 bbl/d of oil from the Atlanta Field, with water handling of 140,000 bbl/d and storage for 1.6 MMbbl of oil.

Yinson, which converted the vessel, will also operate it under a charter arrangement.
