SolstadFarstad contracts duo for DP services

STAVANGER, Norway – Global Maritime and UniSea have won a five-year contract to provide dynamic positioning (DP) assurance software services to SolstadFarstad’s offshore supply vessel fleet.
This is the biggest DP assurance contract in Global Maritime’s history.
The new software, the contractor says, will make implementation and documentation of DP testing easier, helping to avoid vessel downtime and improving crew knowledge and experience.
It will be integrated withSolstadFarstad’s current on-board software.
