ANTWERP, Belgium – EXMAR Offshore Co. (EOC) has been pre-selected for an FPSO project offshore Brazil.

Confirmation of selection of the contenders for the project should follow by mid-year.

EOC is also working on various prospects for itsOPTI-designed semisubmersibles, used by LLOG for production purposes in the US Gulf of Mexico.

EXMAR’s 2010-built offshore accommodation bargeNunce remains on a long-term charter until 2022, while the 2009-built Wariboko is on charter until September.

The company expects demand to grow for offshore accommodation as more offshore projects get under way between now and 2019.
