Topaz vessel to support Absheron development in the Caspian Sea

Total has contracted Topaz Energy and Marine to support its operations in the Azeri sector of the Caspian Sea.

DUBAI, UAE – Total has contracted Topaz Energy and Marine to support its operations in the Azeri sector of the Caspian Sea.

Topaz will supply its anchor-handling vesselTopaz Triumph to service one work-over and one development well at the Absheron field, in which Total is a partner with state-owned SOCAR. Total discovered the field in 2011.

The work is set to take over a year to complete.
