Ocean Troll on charter at Culzean in the North Sea

ABERDEEN, UK – Atlantic Offshore Scotland’s emergency response and rescue vessel (ERRV) Ocean Troll is assisting Maersk Oil’s Culzean gas/condensate development in the UK central North Sea.

This is the first charter of a fire fighting Class II (Fi-Fi II) ERRV in the UK sector, Atlantic claimed. The two-year firm program started in July, with two one-year extension options.

The 78-m (256-ft) long vessel is said to provide multi-role functionality, aside from Fi-Fi II, with accommodation for up to 21 people.
