Aker Yards to build multi-purpose vessels

OSLO, Norway -- Ukrainian shipping company JSSC Ukrrichflot has awarded Aker Yards in Ukraine (Damen Shipyards Okean) a contract to deliver three multi-purpose vessels.
The yard previously built six vessels in the same series for the company. An additional three vessels are under construction. The vessels are expected to be delivered between April and November in 2009.
