Offshore staff

SOLSTRAND, Norway --Supply Service AS, Faroe Islands, has contracted Norwegian Deck Machinery (NDM) for a complete winch package for a mid-size supply vessel under construction at the Solstrand shipyard in Norway.

Havyard Maritime designed the 78.5 m (258 ft) by 6 m (20 ft) vessel. NDM's package will comprise one double electrical windlass winch, two chain stoppers, three electrical capstans, and two electrical tugger winches. The company will deliver the deck machinery next March.
