Agnes Candies performs first GoM job

HOUSTON --Deep Marine Technology Inc.'s Agnes Candies saturation dive support vessel has completed its first Gulf of Mexico job.

The DP-2 vessel performed pipeline remediation work in 315 ft (96 m) of water at Main Pass block 282, under contract with Spectra Energy.

Agnes Candies is equipped with:

  • 40-ton (36-metric ton) knuckle boom crane
  • 3-man bell
  • Surface dive station
  • 1000-ft (305-m) water depth rated, 12-man saturation system with hyperbaric rescue chamber
  • Gas mixing system
  • Diver reclaim

    The vessel, operating under long-term charter to DMT, is marketed for platform repair and inspection; riser, anode, and hot-tap installation; subsea tree and valve assistance; and pipeline inspection.
