TUNIS, Tunisia -- Candax Energy Inc. subsidiary Ecumed Petroleum Tunisia Ltd. has awarded Seadrill a contract for the jackup drilling rig West Titania.
The contract covers three wells plus one re-entry and has an estimated duration of 120 days, excluding mobilization from West Africa.
The contract value is estimated at $18 million, excluding mobilization.
Startup is scheduled in the beginning of June 2007.
