Offshore staff

HAMILTON, Bermuda -- Seadrill has secured a letter of award with Vietsovpetro for an assignment in Vietnam of the jack-up drilling rig West Larissa.

The six-well assignment is expected to last 360 days, with a contract value of approximately $66 million.

Start-up of operations is scheduled in direct continuation of the rig's current commitments. TheWest Larissa is operating offshore Indonesia.
