Offshore staff

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia -- Alam Maritim Resources Bhd. subsidiary Alam Maritim (M) Sdn. Bhd. has received a letter of intent for a six-month charter of its anchor handling tug supply vessel, MV Setia Tangkas.

The $3.5-million contract is for work in block SK 305 offshore Sarawak, East Malaysia. The company has an option for a six-month extension under a contract with PCPP Operating Co. Sdn. Bhd., a unit related to Malaysian national oil corporation, Petronas.
