Swissco orders support vessels

Swissco Offshore has placed orders for four offshore support vessels worth $12.8 million.

SINGAPORE -- Swissco Offshore has placed orders for four offshore support vessels worth $12.8 million. The first order is for two aluminum crew/utility vessels, which are expected to be deployed by 1Q 2009.

Swissco also has ordered a landing craft and a multipurpose-accommodation workboat from an Indonesian shipyard. Both units are expected to join the Swissco fleet in 1Q 2009.
