DMT acquires construction vessels

HOUSTON -- Deep Marine Technology Inc. has added two vessels to its fleet – the 240-ft (73-m) DMT Sapphire ROV support vessel and the 220-ft (67-m) DMT Topaz saturation vessel.
DMT Sapphire (formerly the Kelly Ann Candies) will be equipped with a 40-ton (36-metric ton) knuckle boom crane, a subsea launch and recovery winch with 10,000 ft (3,048 m) of 1.5-in. (3.8-cm) cable, accommodations for 36, and a 150-hp, 10,000-ft (3,048) Triton XLS work class ROV.
DMT Topaz (formerly the Agnes Candies) is equipped with a 40-ton (36-metric ton) knuckle boom crane, a 1,000-ft (305-m), 12-man saturation system, a gas mixing system, diver reclaim, three-man bell, accommodations for 42, and a surface dive station.
