LONDON --Nordcapital has contracted Rolls-Royce for four more offshore service vessels. This follows an order for six similar vessels from the same customer in June.
The new order boosts the total value of the contract to Rolls-Royce to $308 million. All the vessels will be operated by Hamburg-based OSM Schiffart.
The latest consignment, all UT 786 CD deepwater anchor handlers, will be built by the Korean shipyard Sekwang. They will incorporate a range of marine equipment, including diesel engines, deck machinery, thrusters, and dynamic positioning systems.
