CNPC delivers drilling rig

BEIJING, China -- CNPC's Baoji Oilfield Machinery has built a rig capable of drilling to 12,000-m (39,370-ft) deep.
The rig is capable of operating normally in environments ranging from equatorial regions to polar areas, according to China's Ministry of Science and Technology. The rig can automatically speedup, slowdown, brake, or give an alarm according to operating conditions.
