SINGAPORE -- Hallin Marine has signed a three-year charter with Seacor Marine for a new subsea operations vessel.
Hallin will take delivery of the new buildSeacor Penrith in 2Q 2008 and will use the vessel to support its diving and ROV operations.
The 67-m (220-ft), DP2 vessel, has onboard accommodation for 52 personnel and is fitted with a 20-metric ton SWL active-heave compensated subsea crane.
"We believe the charter of theSeacor Penrith, along with the on-going charter of the Sanko Angel and operational availability of the Ullswater during 2008 and the Windermere in 2010, means we have secured the right mix of competitively priced vessels that will give us the flexible operating fleet required to help realise our strategy of continued, planned growth," says Jon Attenburrow, MD of Hallin Marine's east division,
