Rigdon Marine christens first 4000 Class PSV

Rigdon Marine Corp. has reached two milestones in its Rigdon 4000 Class platform support vessel (PVS) construction program.

HOUSTON -- Rigdon Marine Corp. has reached two milestones in its Rigdon 4000 Class platform support vessel (PVS) construction program.

TheFirst and Ten is scheduled for delivery in late July 2007, and the Double Eagle is expected to enter service in late Sept. 2007, Rigdon says. The remaining eight Rigdon 4000 class PSVs will be delivered in approximate 45-day intervals during 2007 and through 3Q 2008.

"Our crews and operations team are equally excited to add these very capable, safe and efficient, world-class vessels to our next-generation fleet," says John Teague, Rigdon Marine vice president of supply vessel operations.
