The companies also supplied the frequency-regulated systems for the thrusters and the pipelay system
With a length of 225 m (738 ft), theAudacia is a deepwater pipelay vessel that lays pipe over its bow.
Two years of conversion work preceded its christening on May 8, 2007. The vessel was converted from a bulk carrier into an advanced offshore vessel.
