Bourbon Offshore has inaugurated its first training center in France for anchor handling tug supply vessel crews.

PARIS, France --Bourbon Offshore has inaugurated its first training center in France for anchor handling tug supply vessel crews.

The Bourbon Training Center, based in the premises of the National Merchant Navy School (ENMM) in Marseille, will provide training in anchor handling under `real' conditions using a simulator developed by Norwegian company Offshore Simulator Center.

The new facility will provide seamen with theoretical knowledge as well as practical training in anchor handling, and includes a full-equipped bridge, and the deck portion of an anchor handler.
