Crowley to christen heavy lift vessel

PORTLAND, Oregon -- Crowley Maritime Corp. plans to christen its new Heavy Lift 455 series deck barge Marty J on Jan. 4, 2007.

TheMarty J is the first of three new Heavy Lift 455 series deck barges that are due over the next year, the company says. The barge was built at Gunderson Marine's shipyard in Portland, Oregon.
