BATAM, Indonesia -- Drydock World’s Nanindah shipyard has delivered the newbuild platform supply vessel REM Supplier to Norwegian shipping company REM Offshore.
The UT 755LN-type PSV was built at one of three Drydocks World yards on Batam Island. It is equipped with FiFi1 capability and a DP-2 system. It also features two MAK 6M25 engines instead of the conventional Bergen engine found more typically in a Rolls Royce-designed vessel.
The DNV-classified vessel is 73.6 m (241 ft) long, with a beam of 16 m (52.5 ft).
