Petrobras keeps Acergy vessel for further term

LONDON -- Petrobras has awarded Acergy a four-year renewal of its contract for the installation vessel Acergy Condor.

The $220-million award covers provision of flexible laying services offshore Brazil in water depths of up to 2,000 m (6,562 ft).

The vessel has performed over 12 years of uninterrupted service for Petrobras in Brazilian waters, according to Bruno Chabas, Acergy’s COO.
