GOLETA, California -- Transocean has contracted Bardex Corp. to supply a linear chain jack mooring system for the semisubmersible Jack Bates.
The system upgrade consists of four linear chain jack assemblies and four deck-mounted idler sheave assemblies. Four self-contained hydraulic power units will drive the system.
