GPA delivering 74 PSVs worldwide

(US) - Seattle-based Guido Perla and Associates, Inc. (GPA) is supplying 74 platform support vessels (PSV) worldwide.
"The GPA series of diesel-electric, dynamic-positioning PSVs are providing customers with the capability to transport more payload cargoes while saving fuel cost," says Guido Perla, chairman of GPA.
The GPA vessels are being delivered to energy companies throughout Asia, West Africa, South America, Mexico, and the US Gulf of Mexico.
* Eighteen GPA 670 PSVs are being delivered by the Zhejiang Shipyard in China for BOURBON Offshore. The 670s are 73-m, diesel-electric, DP-2 certified vessels are capable of carrying 255 cu m of bulk material and 1,072 cu m of liquid mud in self-cleaning oval tanks.
* Ten GPA 640 PSVs were delivered by Bender Shipyards in Mobile, Alabama for Rigdon Marine. The 640s are BourbonOrleans64-m, dxiesel-electric, DP-2 certified vessels are capable of carrying 202 cu m of bulk material.
* Ten GPA 654 PSVs are being delivered by Bollinger Shipyards in Lockport, Louisiana for Rigdon Marine. The 654s are 58-m, diesel-electric, DP-2 certified vessels capable of carrying 144 cu m of bulk material and 652 cu m of liquid mud in self-cleaning oval tanks.
* Ten GPA 654 PSVs are being delivered by Dayang Shipyards in China for BOURBON Offshore.
* Twenty-six GPA 254 AHTS are being delivered by Dayang Shipyards in China for BOURBON Offshore. The GPA 254 PSVs are 58-m, diesel-electric, 80-metric ton bollard pull, DP-2 certified vessels capable of carrying 156 cu m of bulk material and 662 cu m of liquid mud in self-cleaning oval tanks.
